My name is Lucas Malcolm Weber. I was born May fourth, 1975, in Carmichael, CA. My two younger sisters, parents and I moved to Grass Valley in 1980. I always had a fondness toward movie-making and music that would follow me to this day. Neil Thomson and Steve Billat were two good friends I grew up with here in Grass Valley that shared my interest in movie-making. Neil and I experimented with acting, editing, and creative camera work, making several amusing pictures using an old a super 8 film camera. I bought my first camcorder with childhood money I had saved in 1989. Making short movies, (usually without any endings or creative story lines), was all Neil and I did for several years. Through high school, the friends we would acquire would all become part of our movie-making pastime. One of those friends was a young lad by the name of Ryan Luhring, whom I had met in 1991 in a video class. Ryan and I would go on to make more movies, and form a heavy metal and country band, with him on guitar and me on a keyboard through the next couple of years while Neil left for college. Ryan worked at Burger King at the time. I began playing drums and working there as well in 1993, after graduating from high school. I was introduced to many new friends while working there, including Ron Braaten, Charlie Patterson and Shane Calvert. I joined their musical group, "Beefhead," as a drummer and keyboard player in 1994. I would also take part in many of their movie projects through the years including "Fast Food Tales" and the controversial "Cable Guys. "I have been working for Pacific Gas and Electric since 1994. I married Carla Wilson in 2000. To this day, I continue to enjoy working with Beefhead Productions.
