Since I was a kid, I was always interested in TV and film production.  I was especially interested in Sci-Fi and spy shows. I was born in Spokane, WA in 1959 and grew up in Yuba City, CA. I graduated Yuba City High in 1978.  I was taught to play the bagpipes when I was 11.  I spent the majority of the 1990s in the City of Sacramento Pipe Band as both a band and individual competitor.  I began teaching myself to draw comics at age 15.

My first attempt at producing a home-made movie was a spoof on Dirty Harry in 1978 using a super-8mm movie camera. I met my wife, Caren, in 1980 and we were married 2 years later. In 1983 I entered the Air Force as a Security Specialist.  I was discharged after my first term and did several odd jobs until I went to Yuba College in 1992 majoring in Mass Communications. I met Shane Calvert and Chuck Patterson in the first class of my first day of classes and have enjoyed their association ever since.

I worked with Shane at the Chico TV station as the Director of the sunrise news.  Although I don't appear in any Beefhead movies, I have enjoyed helping in post-production.  I'm now a Commercial Producer for Comcast.  I live in Live Oak, CA with my wife, daughter and son.
